A potential new way to diagnose male infertility and pharmaceutical treatment options

US researchers from Washington State University have developed a reliable mechanism for diagnosing male infertility, examining and identifying treatment options that will work best for patients.they concluded that infertile men had specific patterns of molecules of lignin or biomarkers associated with their sperm DNA not found infertile men.

Scientists also identified genetic biomarkers among infertile patients who responded to hormone therapy to treat their condition versus those who did not.

The method for diagnosing male infertility in assessing sperm quantity and motility, which historically had limited success in separating fertility from male infertility.

Data show that about 22% of men who need congenital fertilization to have children will have infertility problems where the cause is unknown.

These men are usually put on a system to try to have a baby with their partner for a year or more before IVF is recommended. Scientists wanted to see if they could make a diagnosis to get rid of this period of uncertainty.

Scientists knew from previous research that there was a possible link between male infertility and modifications to groups of methyl molecules that hold the DNA sequence that regulates how certain genes work. Vital, reliably in methyl acid-related sperm groups for both fertile or infertile men who agreed to participate in a research study.

They found that all men with infertility in the study had a specific biological marker, unlike men with fertility. The scientists also identified another biological marker among infertile patients that could be used to determine who would respond to hormone therapy.

Data show that about 22% of men who need congenital fertilization to have children will have infertility problems where the cause is unknown.
